OYO 2019: APA GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE URGES INEC AND
SECURITY AGENCIES TO BE UNBIASED
The African Peoples Alliance Party (APA)
has called on Oyo State branch of the Independent National Electoral Commission
(INEC) and security stakeholders in the state to be neutral in the conduct of
the forthcoming governorship election scheduled to hold on March.
Deacon Tolulope Adedoyin, the Oyo
State Governorship Candidate of the African Peoples Alliance Party (APA) in a statement issued yesterday said his party
will be participating in the forthcoming election.
Deacon Adedoyin therefore called on
the people of Oyo State to get and protect their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC)
and come out enmasse to vote for whoever APA presents as it governorship and
House of Assembly candidates come March.
APA insists that the March elections
in Oyo state must be free, fair, credible and transparent. “INEC and all
security agencies deployed for the election must remain neutral and unbiased
during and after the election.” Adedoyin concluded.
